All data shared in entering this competition will be used for administration only. We will only use your data for the purposes you subscribed to during the sign up process. The data we are collecting is: your email address, first and last names, postcode, name of organisation (if applicable). We need this information to contact you in case you are a competition winner. We need your postcode as we would like to understand which areas of the city people are subscribing from so we can make sure as many as possible are involved. We will only share this information with Bristol City Council staff involved in choosing and contacting competition winners.

The competition is open between 11am on Thursday 8 August 2019 and midnight on Tuesday 27 August 2019.

A valid entry is a completed email newsletter sign up form via the We Are Bristol website at www.wearebristol.co.uk, with the option selected to enter the balloon competition.

Each valid entry will be entered into a free prize draw to win a voucher for a hot air balloon flight for two people with Bailey Balloons.

The balloon flight offer is valid for 12 months from the date of issue of the vouchers. Balloon flights are always weather dependent. If it doesn’t fly on the arranged date, then an alternative flight can be arranged by the winner as long as it falls before the closing date of 12 months from the date of issue of the vouchers.

The competition winners must abide by the Bailey Balloons terms and conditions https://www.baileyballoons.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/

The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years and over. Only available for addresses in mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

The prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable and no alternative will be offered.

There are no cash alternatives to the prize.

We will randomly draw the winner from all the correct and valid entries and Bristol City Council’s decision will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be drawn at random by an independent person from all valid entries received. The winner will be notified via the email address provided as part of the sign up process. If we cannot get hold of the winner, Bristol City Council reserves the right to choose an alternative winner

Bristol City Council takes no responsibility for entries that are lost or delayed and will not accept entries that are spoilt or incomplete. Entries shall not be returned.
